Yes, let's hope archaeologists, scholars, and historians find out more about them. It's interesting to me that their influence on western culture is largely discounted in favor of the Greeks and Romans. Perhaps what will be discovered is that they played a larger role in western civilization than is now believed. At any rate I've always found them mysterious. I've begun reading D.H. Lawrence's book on them - "Etruscan Places." Amazing that he wrote this book after only a few days visiting their tombs.
