Like you I love to visit art galleries and museums and never want to pass up a chance to see something new. I am fortunate to have been to Scotland and spent a few hours in the National Gallery. I must admit I have never heard of the painter Elsheimer. How did you ever hear of him? Do you spend hours cuddled cozily in a stuffed chair poring over art books and so make exciting discoveries? The Flight into Egypt is breathtakingly beautiful. Now if only I could hie myself to Scotland to see the exhibit! And you?

Yes I love to read about artists through the ages. I also like to visit art galleries, but unfortunately I won't be seeing this exhibit in Scotland. You are so lucky to have visited the National Gallery in Scotland. For me, at least the National Gallery in D.C. is nearby....
